Using this technology, it is possible for the user to acquaint himself with an unfamiliar environment. As an example of use, a mobile application was built as part of this thesis, that supports beginning students with their orientation on the campus. Therefore research on how AR labels should be designed an placed to fit the user's needs was done: At first various visualizations were prototypically developed and then tested in a survey, in which 50 people participated. The survey evaluated the visualizations' interpretability and the appreciation by the user. The survey indicated that users prefer visualizations with color-analogous markings. Subsequently an application was built, that considered these results. Problems that occurred during the process of development were documented along with possible solution approaches.}}, address = {Innstra{\ss}e 43, 94032 Passau, Germany}, school = {Lehrstuhl f\"{u}r Informatik mit Schwerpunkt Eingebettete Systeme, Universit\"{a}t Passau}, type = {Bachelor's Thesis}, }
